The University of West Florida (West Florida or UWF) is a public university in Pensacola, Florida. It was built in 1963 as a part of the establishment of the State University System of Florida.
Situated in Pensacola with additional locations in the region, UWF has granted more than 100,000 degrees from more than 90 undergrad, graduate, and doctoral programs. The small class sizes guarantee customized, focused attention to the students from some of the country’s most engaging professors.
