Prairie View A&M University is a public university that This university was founded in 1876. With time, this university has gone through a complete transformation. In 2004, it launched a pre-medical program which is known as Undergraduate Medical Academy. This university also went a step further and released an honours program for candidates who meet the specified GPA, SAT/ACT, and recommendation criteria. The campus of this university has two other branch campuses in Houston with the Northwest House Centre and College of Nursing in the Texas Medical Centre.
