Established in 1989Eynesbury College is one of Adelaide’s oldest private senior secondary colleges for students in years 10, 11, and 12. The name of the college has been inspired by the landmark Eynesbury House on Old Belair Road, Kingswood.

Eynesbury has two campuses, both located in the center of Adelaide city, near the Chinatown and Central Market precinct. Coglin Street campus is home to English language, Diploma and Foundation Studies programs, while the other campus Franklin Street is for Senior High School. Within the city of Adelaide, Eynesbury has an excellent reputation as a leading senior high school. Eynesbury High School students are consistently placed in the top 1% of students in South Australia, with more than 99% of them being offered a place at a university of their choice.

Eynesbury offers the most comprehensive range of pathway programs in South Australia, which provides maximum flexibility in assisting students to gain entry to their chosen degree pathway and in preparing them for academic success at university. It is known for the importance it gives to every student’s individual learning approach and curve. The students in the college are free to think unconventionally to encourage all creative ideas. The learning approach of the college is self-based, self-motivation, self-evaluation, self-regulation, and self-management, indeed increasing each student’s independence. The college has students from various backgrounds and countries, making the place multi-cultural and multi-national by nature.

Eynesbury has its own exclusive student accommodation called HomeAway. There are three residences located between 1.5 and 3km from the campus. All rooms are fully furnished with an air conditioner and access to a fridge. Also, delicious meals are available for all students.

Eynesbury has regular intakes throughout the year which lead to both the February and July university semesters. At Eynesbury international students share the classrooms with domestic Australian students. The high school is around 75% of Australian students and around 25% of international students. The diploma and foundation programs attract students from many different countries around the world. Further, Eynesbury offers academic merit scholarships for high performing international students who are applying for entry to the Eynesbury Senior College program, or the Eynesbury Foundation Studies Program. The value of the scholarships ranges from 10 – 50% of the program fee, depending on the academic performance of the student in their most recent year of schooling in their home country.

One of the most amazing features of Eynesbury College is that it offers a comprehensive curriculum with almost all kinds of subjects, and in case the college does not offer a particular subject; then it arranges the subject through other institutions. Such flexible and open ideas of the college help to encourage students to develop academically and have positively impacted the reputation of the college all over. Besides, the college also has a student counselor to guide students in choosing their career paths, for those confused about it.
