Endicott College was founded in 1939 by Dr. Eleanor Tupper. The institute comprises School of Arts & Sciences, School of Business, School of Communication, School of Education, School of Hospitality Management, School of Sport Science & Fitness Studies, School of Nursing, School of Visual & Performing Arts, and the Van Loan School of Graduate and Professional Studies.
The Van Loan School of Graduate and Professional Studies offers more than 80 programs for working professionals. These are offered at the Certificate, Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, Fifth Year Master’s and doctoral levels and can be pursued at the college’s Main Campus, Beverly, Massachusetts, Boston, Massachusetts, online and international locations (Madrid, Spain, and Leysin, Switzerland).

They are therefore required to complete three distinct internships in four years, to gain professional experience, build confidence, and make important contacts in the industry. The first-semester internship gives priority to career preparation, professional skill-building, and industry research.
With the internship in their freshman year, students gain experience and insight into working in their field. The Internship and Career Center of the college hosts ‘Meet the Firms’ event where students get to interact with potential employers to explore their pathways to succeed in their careers.
