  • Applicants should hold or be predicted to achieve a first-class or strong upper second-class undergraduate degree with honours (or equivalent international qualifications), as a minimum, in mathematics or a related discipline
  • Applicants should have a background in probability, statistics, ordinary and partial differential equations, linear algebra and analysis
  • Applicants with undergraduate degrees that are not purely mathematical will still be expected to demonstrate they have sufficient knowledge to perform well on the course

Additional info
  • GRE or GMAT test results are not a compulsory part of an application for the MSc Mathematical & Computational Finance, but if applicants feel a GRE or GMAT test result may help demonstrate their mathematical ability, they are welcome to include it
  • Applicants with a full-time degree-level course of a minimum of nine months, at a recognized institution where teaching and assessment throughout the course is entirely in English and has been completed within 2 years of the start date of the course to which they are applying can be exempted from the English proficiency exam
