Students will study 120 credits of core material that spans a rather large spectrum; as well as learning about energy technologies, energy networks and energy systems design
This course fulfills a critical need to educate the next generation of energy professionals in concert with the internationally recognized research being undertaken through the Thermal Energy Research Accelerator (T-ERA) program and the Birmingham Energy Institute (BEI)
The course also covers economics, energy policy, and geopolitics
The program will take a systems-based approach to the provision, distribution, and utilization of energy of all forms

Bachelors	60.0% Applicants should have, or expect to obtain, a 2:1 Honours degree from a UK academic institution (or an equivalent overseas qualification) in engineering or physical sciences Consideration may also be given to excellent applicants with degrees in life sciences and economics where these included an adequate component of mathematics Further consideration may be given to candidates with extensive, relevant post-degree experience Applicants with either four-year Bachelors degree (first-class or very good upper second class) or three-year Bachelors degree (first class) from recognized institutions in India
Exams	IELTS: 6 With atleast 5.5 in all bands, and 6.0 in writing PTE: Accepted With no less than 51 in all four skills
Additional info	Applicants can fulfill the ELP waiver requirement if they have complete:- -India Standard XII (CBSE/CISCE/West Bengal) with 75% or above -India Standard XII (other Indian state boards) with 80% or above
