  • An honours degree of 2:2 or above in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Architectural Technology, Building, Building Services Engineering, Building Surveying, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, Quantity Surveying, Real Estate, Urban, Development and Regional Planning
  • Applicants who have a degree in a different subject or do not have a degree but do have relevant professional experience or qualifications in the construction industry

Entry requirements for postgraduate courses vary from institution to institution and have been determined by both the length of the degree and the section of university (as defined by the NOOSR list):

  • NOOSR Section 1 - 2.6 GPA or 48% for a three-four year degree, 45% from a five-year degree.
  • Section 1 includes: Alagappa University, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Amity, Amrita Institute of Management, Anna university, Banaras hindu University, Bangalore University, Bharathiar University, Birla Institute of Technology, Board of Technical Education, Chennai University, D Y Patil, Delhi University, English and Foreign Language University, Guru Nanak Dev University, IIM, IIT, IIS, Kolkata University, Mumbai University, Pune University.

  • NOOSR Section 2 – 2.8 GPA or 55% for all degrees
  • Section 3 – 3.0 GPA or 60% for all degrees
  • Applicants who do not meet the standard requirements above, may be required to undertake some undergraduate modules in the year prior to starting the MSc (Additional fee will be charged for these modules)
ExamsIELTS: 6.5
  •  A minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with 5.5 in each component

PTE: 58
  • Overall score of 58 with at least 51 in each component (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking)

Additional info
  • Applicants with 70% in English in Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate - Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB can fulfill English language requirement
