The program is best suitable for people who are currently employed in education, special education or education management, and for those who have an interest in developing their knowledge and practice in these areas
Students will complete in-depth coursework consisting of topics selected from specializations such as cognitive psychology and educational practice, educational research, evaluation and assessment etc.
The curriculum of the program includes subjects such as Indigenous Research Methodologies, Contemporary Issues in Special Education, Studies in Vision Impairment, Pedagogical Leadership etc.
Students with education background are eligible for 1.5 years program

Bachelors	No specific cutoff mentioned Applicants for the Master of Education will qualify for either the 2-year or 1.5-year program. Applicants who hold an approved bachelor degree in any discipline are eligible for the basic entry level, and will complete up to 72 units of study. Applicants who hold a bachelor degree in education, teaching or a closely related discipline are eligible for the 1.5-year program, and will complete up to 54 units of study. Different specialisations may have additional entry requirements.

Additional info	Students with Successful completion of an approved secondary or tertiary qualification, taught in the English language in a country where English is the official language or the main language spoken with evidence no more than five years old on the proposed date of commencement of the course can apply for ELP waiver
