The Program provides industry relevant and specialist journalism training to prepare student for life as a professional journalist
Students will learn how to write advanced news and features, gain an understanding of the scope of the laws affecting journalists and develop the editorial, interpersonal and self-management skills needed to work within the media industry
It enable one to learn advanced skills in the practice and analysis of journalism and develop the skills to become a multimedia journalist
There are visits to journalism and media organisations, such as the BBC, as well as special seminars and workshops held by industry professionals

Additional info	Applicants will be waived from ELP requirement if they have scored 70% in Indian Standard XII
