Through this course students will gain conceptual knowledge of cellular/molecular, organismal, and ecological biology sciences
It will impart knowledge and experience in the basic methods, instrumentation and quantitative analytical skills used to conduct scientific research in biology
The major also prepares students for further study in such interdisciplinary fields as biochemistry, nutrition, neuroscience, oceanography, and environmental science
The program is offering concentrations in Biomedical Sciences, Organismal and Evolutionary Biology, Cellular/Molecular Biology and Field Biology and Ecology
