- Students will learn to develop critical infrastructures such as bridges, buildings, airports, roads, railways and water systems
- Students will become equipped to work creatively and sustainably in the design, construction and maintenance of critical infrastructure
- Students will get hands-on experience and knowledge in areas such as:
- road design and traffic management
- geospatial science for engineers
- soil mechanics
- hydraulics and hydrology
- geotechnical engineering
- reinforced concrete design
- In the first year, students will develop a strong, general foundation in engineering and then move into civil engineering major. In the third year, students have the option to choose a minor in Environmental Management or Transportation
