  • The MAcc program has five prerequisite courses in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I, Intermediate Accounting II, and Auditing
  • Preference is given to applicants with a 3.0/4.0 cumulative overall GPA or better

  • Business school does not have a minimum GPA requirement; however, most admitted students have GPAs of at least 3.2 or higher
  • A student can have a waiver on GMAT or GRE based upon their undergraduate GPA, work experience, or previously earned a master's/terminal degree
  • Meeting one or more of these criteria allows applicants to request a waiver but does not guarantee that the waiver will be granted
    • Applicants who graduated from an AACSB-accredited business school within the past 10 years and earned a 3.25 or greater cumulative GPA may qualify. Exceptions to this may be made on a case-by-case basis for those graduating with an undergraduate degree from a non-AACSB accredited program
    • Applicants who graduated in an engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited school within the past 10 years and earned a 3.25 GPA or greater cumulative GPA may qualify
    • If the applicant has previously earned a master's degree or terminal degree, he/she may qualify. Factors considered in the waiver decision include the program of study and their academic record as indicated on official transcripts
