Established in 1989, Pennsylvania College of Technology, also known as Penn College, is a public college in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. As an applied technology college, it offers more than 100 bachelors, associate, and certificate majors in careers ranging from manufacturing, design, transportation, and construction to hospitality, health, business, and natural resources. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education accredited it.

Pennsylvania College of Technology comprises of six schools; Humanities & Visual Communications and School of Transportation & Natural Resources Technologies, School of Sciences, School of Industrial, Computing & Engineering Technologies, School of Nursing & Health Sciences, School of Construction & Design Technologies, and School of Business & Hospitality. In addition to the main principle campus in Williamsport, Penn College operates four satellite campuses around the West Branch Susquehanna River and the northern tier of Pennsylvania.

Workforce Development at Penn College is able to customize a program to address the need of the industry. This adjustable model is adaptable enough to fulfill the needs of almost any organization in an industry. MIDAS Apprenticeship programs are intended to grow accessibility and flexibility for advanced manufacturing companies. Modularized segments can be effectively joined into programs that meet or surpass registered apprenticeship program standards. Optional modules can be joined with existing programs or run as stand-alone programs for the advancement of specialty, non-technical skills.

The National Sustainable Structures Center (NSSC) at Penn College is a nationally-recognized U.S. DOE legacy training center and BPI Test Centre that gives training and specialized help to professionals, commercial building operators, government, utility companies and other industry partners in building performance.

Network Peer Educators center focuses on developing passive and active programming for Penn College community, specifically in the areas of Health and Wellness, Suicide Prevention and Interpersonal Violence, Diversity & Inclusiveness, and Community Engagement. Through this program, students gain information and aptitudes to strengthen their communities, show others how to advocate for themselves and their needs, and state more command over their lives all through peer education.

Some of the notable alumni of the college are Jake Corman, the Pennsylvania State Senator (R-PA, 34th senatorial district); Tom Marino, the U.S. Representative (R-PA, 10th district) and Gary Haluska, the PA Representative (D-PA, 73rd district).
