The program prepares students to plan, design, build and maintain buildings, infrastructure and resources
The course has four main themes: structures, transport, water and geomechanics
The program is designed to provide students an awareness of social, economic and environmental aspects of civil engineering
Graduates will be able to demonstrate a broad understanding of the civil engineering discipline and a deeper understanding of some areas of civil engineering

Class 12th	75% Applicants must have passed High School with: 75% in the case of Central Board, or 80% in the case of State Board Prerequisites: SACE stage two specialist mathematics or mathematical methods or equivalent Assumed knowledge: Knowledge of SACE stage two physics or equivalent is assumed
Exams	TOEFL: 72 With 18 in Speaking and Writing IELTS: 6 With 6.0 in Speaking and Writing PTE: 50 With 50 in Speaking and Writing
Additional info	Students with Successful completion of an approved secondary or tertiary qualification, taught in the English language in a country where English is the official language or the main language spoken with evidence no more than five years old on the proposed date of commencement of the course can apply for ELP waiver
