The Visual Art Diploma program at Red Deer College is guided by a group of experienced faculty, all of whom are practicing artists, students will learn a wide range of studio-based technical skills and theoretical approaches
Students will practice and study foundational artistic principles, drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, art history, professional practices, as well as develop skills in writing and communication and be exposed to other courses offered within the School of Creative Arts
Students will develop a robust portfolio and build the professional skills necessary to be successful in the vibrant arts and culture sector
