Enhance the knowledge and expertise in computer science or electronics, and address the challenges in an industry where machine learning techniques are being used increasingly in a wide number of applications. Using a range of skills from data science, to programming and hardware architectures that allow suitable artificial intelligence solutions to be produced and implemented, this course focuses on up-to-date theoretical and practical developments within machine learning, neural networks, signal processing, and remote sensing and how these occur in the intelligent systems
Students will be trained in subjects that address the challenges of the current industry, studying modules that focus on data acquisition technologies and data processing techniques, including the development of AI systems, allowing them to become acquainted with digital signal processing, remote sensing and Internet of Things platforms, learning to program processors produced by ARM Ltd, a major player in the world of microelectronic component software/hardware design, based in Cambridge

Bachelors	50.0% A first degree, with honors, at a minimum final classification of Lower Second (2.2), or equivalent, in a Computing, Electronics, Mathematics or Statistics subject If students have an unrelated honors degree (2.2 or above) or a foundation degree in Computing or Electronics, plus work experience at a suitable level, they may be considered on an individual basis. Applicants may be invited for an interview to determine their suitability for the course If the applicant is applying to any postgraduate course they must hold one of the following: 3-year Bachelors or 4 years Bachelor Engineering or Technology, minimum division 2 (50% - 59%) in relevant subjects A recognized pre-Masters course
Exams	IELTS: 6.5 Overall 6.5 in IELTS with nothing lower than 5.5 in any of the four elements (listening, speaking, reading and writing) PTE: 61 PTE with 61 overall and a minimum of 51 in all components
