- The programme will enable students to develop knowledge and skills in relation to the law, economics and finance governing international law and finance both in the UK, Europe and at a global level
- The course will, in addition, focus on the policy issues surrounding financial regulation and will enable students to conduct research into these interdisciplinary areas
- The compulsory modules studied will give students an excellent opportunity to:
- explore corporate law, corporate finance law, corporate tax law and securities regulation
- engage critically with domestic and international developments in financial law from practical, regulatory and policy perspectives
- examine detailed knowledge of financial services and financial derivatives both from a theoretical and practical standpoint
- understand how to analyse and present statistical data
- learn how to interpret financial accounting information
- make effective financial decisions in a corporate enterprise
- The programme also gives students the flexibility of choosing a topic within the field of either financial law or finance, or an interdisciplinary topic
- Students will also cover modules like Corporate Finance and Securities Law, Principles of International Financial Law, Quantitative Methods, Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Law and Finance Dissertation, Accounting and Finance Dissertation, etc.
